Valkyrie proved to be an excellent mother for her first litter. She was attentive and gentle, puppies gained weight beautifully and were the most sweet and laid back puppies we have had to date. She whelped naturally with no surgical intervention or veterinary assistance required and with no stress or anxiety. I am immensely proud of what an incredible mother she has turned out to be, and look forward to producing another litter with her in the future.

From this litter we had all three males have both testicles by 12 weeks of age, a testament to Valkyries excellent breeding quality. All three males have been placed on mains register for the potential for showing and breeding, with one male being exported to New Zealand.

These males will potentially be available for stud from late 2027 pending health testing, structural assessment and owner approval.

Original posting;

Born 20th January 2026, Valkyrie effortlessly and gracefully whelped 7 beautiful babies naturally in a very considerate daytime whelp. Unfortunately, at less than 24 hours old one of our precious little girls who was born half the size of her littermates grew her wings. Our first loss in breeding. This left us with an even split of 3 girls and 3 boys.

Tragically the sire of this litter passed away 7 days before this litter was born, his ashes returning home to his owners the day the litter was whelped. This litter well and truly is interwoven through fate.

From this litter I am hoping to improve Valkyries upper arm length and overall balance. I expect this pairing to maintain the excellent substance, coat quality and pigment seen in both parents, and I plan to maintain Valkyries beautiful rear angulation and rear strength. I expect puppies to be on the larger side.

Kado’s easy going, confident and social temperament paired with Valkyries friendly, confident but fiery personality, we expect produce excellent balance in temperaments as well with a range of moderate to higher energy & drive puppies.
